....enabling returns from thin air.
The Skypeak Adventure Park in Western Sydney has commissioned the construction of a TouchCloud Skymate Stratus Aerial Adventure Village. The park is located within Sydney's adventure/tourism/recreation precinct - a precinct that includes centres for whitewater rafting and kayaking, wakeboarding, skydiving, waterslides, water jetpacking, mountain biking, bass fishing, tree based ropes courses, canoeing and rowing. The precinct exists in the heart of Western Sydney and serves as the perfect launch pad to the many adventures that await in the world heritage area of the Blue Mountains.
Skypeak Adventures is a truely iconic outdoor urban adventure facility offering families, teenagers, schools and various community and corporate groups an experience to climb a tree, explore, experiment, push personal boundaries - to have an adventure.
The hero of Skypeak Adventures is a 40,000kg 25m tall River Red Gum tree that has been relocated and repurpossed - 'saved' from a road widening project 1000km away. A world first!
Skymate Stratus will have 80+ activities including traverses, zips, climbs, freefalls and plunges. It is 21m high and occupies 18,000 cubic meters.
Actvities types include tree climbs, free fall leaps and zips, traverse elements, 'at-height' games and a 'near ground' 15 element continuous belay kids course.
Designed to motivate and provide opportunities for exploration, the facility will facilitate personal and team growth whilst promoting that 'feeling alive' which comes from 'going beyond imagined limits' and achieving the seemingly impossible.
Skypeak is based on TCg's Skymate II - Stratus design, a design that conforms to AS 3533.1 - 2009 and is registered with the State Government.
